Goals for March 4-10

Last week’s goals:

Personal/Spiritual-

  1. Memorize 1 John 5:14; 1 John 5:15
  2. Morning exercise/stretch routine
  3. Begin reading Another Place At The Table (I decided to read this at a later time) and Pilgrim’s Progress 

Children/Homeschool-

  1. Listen to Bible 4 nights together
  2. Begin reading Sold by Patricia McCormick to older girls (I decided not to read this book after finding out that the subject material is too mature for my girls at this age. We’ll wait a few years since the book does go into detail about being a sex slave, from what a friend told me)
  3. Finish memorizing the Ten Commandments; review names of New and Old Testament books (I still want to work on this. I’d like to get to the point where I can ask: What is the 7th Commandment, and they’d automatically know).

Homemaking-

  1. Knit dishcloth for 30 min./4 days
  2. Organize new legal file
  3. Clean out/organize school shelf

Marriage-

  1. Write Mike a love note (Horrible wife that I am, I must confess that I did not do this!)
  2. Spend 30 min. alone together before the kids wake up at least 3 days this week

Writing-

  1. Write ebook for 30 min/ 4 days (Total bomb; Didn’t work on writing this week)
  2. Write book review for Lord, I Give You This Day
  3. Write one blog post

This Week’s Goals:

Personal/Spiritual-

  1. Memorize 1 John 5:11-12
  2. Morning exercise/stretch routine
  3. Continue reading Pilgrim’s Progress; Begin reading Unplanned
  4. Work on ebook for 2 hours total

Children/Homeschool-

  1. Listen to Bible 4 nights together
  2. Begin reading Never Fall Down to older girls
  3. Finish memorizing the Ten Commandments; review names of New and Old Testament books
  4. Read with Josie 4 mornings

Homemaking-

  1. Finish knitting dishcloth; Begin new knitting project
  2. Clean out under butcher block table
  3. Write a letter to a friend

Marriage-

  1. Date on Thursday
  2. Spend 30 min. alone together before the kids wake up at least 3 days this week

 

This Week’s Schedule:

Tuesday- Homeschool co-op 12:00-3:00; Community Group 6:30-8:30

Wednesday- Kaylie’s art class 9:30-11:30; A date with Lillia during Kaylie’s art class

Thursday- Date with Mike; Deliver meal to a friend in Louisville; Ladies Bible Study at night
